Alex Petrucci researches the cause of chronic epilepsy developed after a person has a viral infection. After graduating from the University of Iowa in December 2022, Petrucci is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Utah. Petrucci is the winner of the Graduate College’s 2023 Rex Montgomery Dissertation Prize Award.
