Evaluation of Polk County Health Services

Research description

The Law, Health Policy and Disability Center conducts program evaluations for Polk County Health Services. Social service agencies providing services for members with disables are assessed on various outcome areas (e.g. stable housing, employment support, community inclusion). The research team analyzes quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate performance, which determines the reimbursement rate for services.

Undergraduate minimum qualifications

Experience using excel and word, background in social services preferred. Qualitative methods and data entry training provided.

Undergraduate role

Students would be primarily working with qualitative data and extracting metrics into a database. Specifically, students would be responsible for reviewing agency case notes to verify fulfillment of service provision.
