Cancer Immunotherapy: A Viral Approach

I originally moved to the United States from Jamaica to complete my BSc in Biochemistry and Computer Science. Currently, I am a fifth year PhD candidate in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Translational Therapeutics working with Dr. Aliasger Salem as my advisor and mentor. My research focuses on using nanomaterials to better detect and treat cancer. I am driven to help improve the outcome for cancer patients, which is the biggest motivator for my research. When I am not doing research, I enjoy riding my motorcycle on country roads, traveling, cooking exotic meals, and listening to live Jazz.
