tudents who have deficits in writing speed or fluency may have further difficulties developing advanced writing skills, such as organizing and reviewing. The purpose of my dissertation research is to investigate effects of a supplemental, academic interventions on the writing performance of adolescents with disabilities. Specifically, the academic intervention entails brief, computer-based practice followed by feedback from an instructor. Three students with disabilities participated in this study. All of them showed improvements during the interventions.
