My dissertation examines how election reforms (e.g., voter IDs) impact voter turnout of Black, Hispanic, and young Americans. This project is conducted using administrative and survey data modeled through advanced statistical techniques for casual leverage. My dissertation furthers political science research by investigating the effects of election reforms on Americans at large and of specific groups; and, given recent politics, contributes to the ongoing discussion of how election administration impacts the participation of different Americans.
