Biography

The workers whose capability does not match with the demanded capability for their jobs have been of interest to scholars investigating the transition from school to jobs. By focusing on these mismatched workers, this dissertation particularly aims to 1) examine how the relationship between educational and skill mismatches changes over time, 2) explore the determinants and influences of skill mismatch with consideration of contextual factors, and 3) identify systematic inequality associated with mismatches.
