My work has been focused on the design and synthesis of novel organic compounds that display interesting bioactivity in human cells. These compounds were developed with regard to their potential to aid in the treatment of a variety of different cancers and infectious diseases, either through direct chemotherapeutic action or indirectly by immune-stimulation ultimately yielding the desired biological outcome. Through significant synthetic efforts, many new compounds have been developed that provide useful insight into these processes.
