The Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Genetics held a 50^th Anniversary Celebration and Annual Student Retreat on June 12 and 13, 2025. With over 100 participants, the event featured a former program director's panel, presentations from alumni, poster presentations from current students, lunch discussion tables, networking, and reminiscing. The program includes members from 18 departments from three colleges across campus and currently holds a long-standing NIH T32 Training Grant. To date, the program has trained 150 students, including 12 from the MSTP, who have gone on to work in academia, scientific industry, science policy, and scientific writing.
