Biography
This study investigates potential heterogeneity within educational experiences and outcomes of Asian American students. This dissertation reveals how parental involvement predicts Asian American students’ academic success during early education. Beyond pre-secondary education, this study investigates the impact of socioeconomic status on Asian American students’ college experiences to reveal how these experiences vary across family backgrounds. This study will contribute to a comprehensive understanding of immigrant children’s success or lack of success in US schools.
