Rachel serves as the Graduate College Graduate Assistant and is passionate about helping graduate students meet their academic and professional goals. Rachel is also a Certified Career Counselor (CCC) through the National Career Development Association (NCDA) and offers one-on-one appointments with graduate students. Rachel currently works as a therapist (t-LMHC) at a private practice in downtown Iowa City, working with neurodivergent individuals, athletes, college students, and more on their individual and professional goals. Rachel is currently a Ph.D. student in Counselor Education and Supervision. She received her B.A. in English and Communication Studies, as well as her M.A. in Sport and Recreation Management, from the University of Iowa. Additionally, she holds an M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wichita State University.
