Nasal sprays available for the treatment of cold and allergy symptoms currently use identical formulations and devices for adults as well as for children. However, based on nasal airway dimensions, it is apparent that the nasal cavities of children differ from adults. The overall goal of this work is to evaluate the performance of nasal spray products in children to determine whether altered performance results in diminished effectiveness.
