Biography
Air pollution is a detriment to public health, Earth's climate, and economy. One challenge to improve air quality is understanding the interactions between meteorology, chemistry, and the sources of pollutants. Through field experiments and computer modeling we can track the source and transport of these pollutants to determine the role of each factor in the poor air quality of a region. My dissertation focuses on applying these techniques in the US Midwest and Southeast Asia.
