In politics, most countries in the world have a conflict among different parties. For example, U.S. is well-known with two main political parties: Republican versus Democrat. Recent studies revealed political polarization in the distribution and consumption of political news (e.g. Fox News is aligned with the Republicans whereas Huffington Post is aligned with the Democrats). Thus, this thesis will help people to understand the role of humans, algorithms, and cyborgs on political polarization.
