Biography

Conventional agriculture places significant demands on natural resources and is generally inefficient. As organisms with tolerance for varied conditions, microalgae (single-cell photosynthetic microorganisms) are a promising alternative to soy for more rapidly and sustainably grown protein-rich animal feed. My research focuses on high-protein microalgae as a means to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions and treat wastewater while producing nutritious animal feed.
