Biography

Integrated reading-to-write tasks have gained popularity in the context of second language (L2) writing assessment because they simulate the authentic writing tasks in the classroom. Previous scholarship on such task types focused on the context of large-scale language assessment. My research aimed to fill the gap by studying the context of classroom-based assessment. Specifically, I explored whether L2 writers were able to demonstrate some progress in writing integrated reading-to-write tasks throughout a writing workshop.
