My research focuses on the ways that higher education can become more accessible to prospective students and more productive for enrolled students. I find that college applicants send significantly more applications and enroll in different types of schools when applications are less time-consuming. Applicant decisions differ greatly based on the way information is presented to them. I also study the effects of giving enrolled students personalized feedback about their current course performance.
