I am a 5th-year Ph.D. student in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering. I have B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Technology in Baghdad. I am pursuing graduate school to get more knowledge and become an expert in my major, especially I would like to work in academia as a professor. My research, self-sterilizing medical implants, will help patients who have infected medical implants avoid multiple invasive surgeries. Outside of the laboratory, I enjoy swimming, biking, fishing, and love to hang out with my family and friends.
