Graduate School 101 Consultations
Meet with a Graduate College advisor on Zoom to learn more about applying to a graduate program, how funding works in graduate school, or how to find resources for writing your materials. This meeting type does not include materials review, but we will help you strategize the best reviewers for your materials. Schedule an appointment by contacting grad-belonging@uiowa.edu.
Graduate Admissions 101
The CCP:2001 Graduate Admissions 101 course (1 s.h.) covers preparation for graduate school application and admissions process; graduate entrance examinations, how to select a graduate program, graduate school applications and personal statements, securing a graduate assistantship, and graduate school interviews. The learning objectives will be accomplished through readings, discussions, feedback, and written assignments. Learn more and enroll in the course.

Grad Campus Visits
Bring a group of students to Iowa to learn about Graduate School! We work with program directors and faculty from regional colleges and programs (e.g., TRiO, McNair Scholars, etc.) to create a tour to fit your student's needs.
