Brady Krien, PhD, MLIS
Brady Krien is a Graduate Careers offers grant and fellowship application and career support for humanities, fine arts, and social sciences students in the Graduate College. He also coordinates a number of assessment and analytics efforts around the graduate student experience and career outcomes. Brady has a PhD in English and MLIS from the University of Iowa and has taught in the Rhetoric Department and the Writing Center and served as a mentor for CIRTL’s Teaching-as-Research Fellowship. His research focuses on utilizing digital tools to examine networks of environmental writing in nineteenth and twentieth-century periodicals. Building on his background in the humanities and social sciences, Brady provides concrete guidance and feedback for fellowship and career applications. In his free time, he bikes, hikes, reads, and writes.
